Hello friends,
First off we just want to thank everyone who came to visit us at our little shop at Shady Hollow this past Sunday!! We cannot believe there is only a few weekends left! I guess the old saying is right "Time Flies when your having fun"!! This week, though we should be concentrating on "BEAUTIFUL JUNQUE".. there were some things that needed to get done on the home front before do I dare say...SCHOOL BEGINS!! Mom left to visit my sister in Vegas and to help her fly back so she can spend time with us for 10 days yippee..so I thought this week to be a great week to check off some things on my Summer Home To Do list...
One of these things that I was able to check off was repainting my Children's playhouse!! Poor thing has been moved twice and was in dire need of painting!! Here are a few pics of their playhouse..
I talked my husband into building this playhouse many years ago..based off my old childhood playhouse my grandpa built me!! I had so many fond memories of this playhouse and I wanted my children to build those same memories in their own playhouse! I was and still am so grateful that my husband used his talents to build such an awesome gift for his children...& moved it twice to different houses..there was no way I was leaving this behind!!!
So the kid's and I took some time on Monday and gave it a little refresher..just in time for my sister and her children to come to MN and make some new memories in here as well!! Next on the to do list..(besides get things ready for the flea this Sunday)..paint my girls bath before school starts..Wish me luck!! Oh yeah and we have been doing lots of dancing in-between our to do list's!!
